The enormous demonstration organized by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) in Delhi saw huge crowds, which resulted in confrontation between protesters and police that included baton charging and tear gas usage. As the police was dismantling the protest site at Jantar Mantar, activist Sonam Wangchuk promised to continue his hunger strike. Later on, the CJP representatives met with the health minister of the federal government, JP Nadda, in order to present their demands, such as resigning of Dharmendra Pradhan.
